Common questions

Everything you need to know,
before you get in touch.

Self-assessment returns start from £299, depending on the complexity of your affairs. MTD quarterly reporting is included in your annual plan. You'll always get a clear, fixed quote before any work begins — no surprise bills, no hourly charging.
It depends on your income, but typically your P60 or P45, any self-employment or rental records, bank statements, dividend vouchers and pension contribution statements. Once you're set up, your secure portal lists exactly what we need and lets you upload everything in a few taps — we'll chase anything outstanding.
From April 2026, MTD for Income Tax applies to self-employed people and landlords with qualifying income over £50,000 — meaning quarterly digital updates to HMRC instead of one annual return. If that's you, we handle the whole thing end to end. If you're unsure whether it applies, just ask.
The online self-assessment deadline is 31 January following the end of the tax year, with payment due the same day. MTD quarterly updates fall in August, November, February and May. Your portal shows a live countdown to every deadline that applies to you, so nothing slips.
Yes. Your documents and information are held in an encrypted database with bank-grade 256-bit encryption, accessed only through your private portal. Your data is never sold or shared with third parties, and is handled in full accordance with UK GDPR.
Email us a little about your situation. We'll confirm what you need and the fee, then set up your secure portal — usually within 24 hours. From there you register, upload your documents, and we take care of the rest.
